Dan joined the financial industry in March 2025 as part of the AFA program at RBC Wealth Management. He brings value to clients from his background as a successful professional in the STEM field, where he worked for nearly a decade before entering the financial services industry. He knows first-hand what it takes to work in the high-tech industry and with a wide variety of individuals, from CEOs to maintenance personnel and end users. Dan’s background has allowed him to quickly understand the complex financial/investment world and effectively communicate to clients with any level of investment knowledge.
Dan’s ideal clients are hardworking, loyal, family-oriented individuals who are looking for a financial advisor whom they can trust to put their best interests first, as well as the interests of their loved ones. Dan also focuses on serving those who have found financial success through long-term discipline, possibly through owning/operating a small business.
With a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Montana Technological University, prior to joining RBC Wealth Management Dan worked in the building automation industry, where he progressed from an engineer designing HVAC control systems to a project manager overseeing key client relationships and high-stakes projects. After nearly 10 years in the engineering/ HVAC industry, his instinct to help others and build lasting relationships drew him to a more client-oriented profession.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison, and their twin daughters, Finley and Olivia. In addition to being a devoted husband and father, Dan is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, spending time at the family’s lake cabin, golfing, playing hockey, skiing and hunting.
