Ryan sits on the same side of the table as his clients, working hard to build the type of connection that provides confidence when facing any decision. He values the trust his clients place in him and is well aware of how important it is to confirm they are comfortable at every step of the investment process. He is very dedicated to performing at the highest level, striving to go above and beyond what is expected.
Ryan began his career with Washington Mutual in 1998, while still completing his degree in psychology and business administration at the University of San Diego. He then moved to the investment division of Bank of America in 2004. There he was able to establish a solid and diverse client base focused on building trusted relationships with his clients, while also building a true financial team.
With his move to RBC Wealth Management in 2014, Ryan structured his team’s practice to provide customized wealth planning and investment guidance to a diverse and select clientele. Efficient, responsive and accessible, Ryan and his team seek to manage risk and balance their clients’ portfolios by combining the solid foundation of a professionally managed, fee-based advisory approach with the active management of specific structured notes, unit investment trusts, certain closed-end funds and alternative investments.
Ryan and his wife have one young son. They all share a love for the sport of ice hockey, and are kept busy with their son playing ice hockey on a competitive travel team. They are passionate about wildlife, particularly birds of prey, and support multiple wildlife conservation organizations. They enjoy fine art and have self-published two children’s books, which he authored and his wife illustrated. Ryan is also a musician, and he enjoys staying active with his family by hiking, snowboarding and mountain biking, along with other outdoor activities and traveling.
