With over 40 years of experience in financial services, Steve has developed a steadfast, multigenerational approach to individualized portfolio management. His experience convinces him to incorporate behavioral psychology into his practice, recognizing the impact of emotions and cognitive biases on financial decision making. Understanding that each client has distinct needs, goals and risk tolerance, he collaborates closely with them to establish a tailored level of liquidity that can help serve as a buffer against market volatility. Steve’s goal is to diversify his client’s investments in a way that is aligned with their specific objectives. Clients receive periodic reviews, providing additional flexibility throughout their lifetime relationships.
Steve values the close, long-standing relationships he has developed with his clients and encourages open communication on any financial matter. His career began in 1985 as a stockbroker at Dean Witter Reynolds Inc., and he has passed the Series 7, 63 and 66 exams. Beyond his knowledge and skills in financial advising, Steve has extensive experience in practice development, coaching and training financial advisors.
Born and raised in Paoli, Pennsylvania, Steve played Division I basketball before earning his bachelor’s degree from American University’s School of International Service in 1984. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his two sons and pursues a variety of passions, including a particular love for fly fishing. He is also deeply interested in wildlife conservation—especially protecting native species—along with gardening, archaeology and studying fungi as an amateur mycologist. Committed to community involvement, Steve has served as president of the Laurel Banks Fishing Club and has been actively involved in local Little League and youth basketball programs
