Lauri began her career in financial services in 1986. She joined RBC Wealth Management in 1992 and in 2015 became the Branch Director of the Madison, WI office. In 2020 she was promoted to Complex Director of the RBC Wealth Management St. Paul Complex. As an advisor, her passion was helping her clients. Now as a Complex Director, Lauri is committed to helping the advisors and teams in the St Paul Complex help their clients reach their goals.
Every year as a financial advisor Lauri received recognition as a member of RBC Wealth Management Chairman’s or President’s Councils, which recognizes outstanding performance. Lauri’s other honors include: 2006 Barron’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors in the U.S., the 2009 and 2010 Barron’s Top 1000 Advisor list, the 2020 Forbes/SHOOK Best-In-State Wealth Advisor, and 2020 Forbes/SHOOK Top Women Wealth Advisor. In 2010 she was selected as the Edgewood College MBA Distinguished Alumnus, and in 2011 Lauri received The ATHENA Award from The Business Forum in recognition of her long-standing leadership in business. She is a two-time RBC Wealth Management’s national recipient of the award for Diversity in the Workplace in 2017 as the Branch Director and again in 2023 as the Complex Director. She has also been awarded the Gail Winslow Award in 2018 which recognizes a woman at RBC Wealth Management-U.S. who demonstrates exemplary efforts to help attract, support, and retain women clients and financial advisors. Lauri graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College. In 2001, she achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In 2011 she completed RBC’s Accredited Wealth Manager program.
Lauri is a past president of the RBC Women’s Association of Financial Advisors, LPGA Amateurs Madison chapter, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church foundation. She has served on RBC’s Fixed Income Advisory Council, and Complex Directors Advisory Council. She has been a volunteer National Ski Patroller for over 30 years and serves as the Treasurer of the Devils Head Ski Patrol. Lauri and her husband Bruce love to ski, bike, golf, scuba dive, cook, and travel.
