Robert Andringa, AWM

Senior Managing Director - Complex Director, Advanced Wealth Manager

Rob has been in the financial services industry since 1995. He is a registered investment advisor representative and holds the Series 7, 8, 31, 63 and 65 securities licenses. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Rob was promoted to branch director of the Madison, Wisconsin office in 2004 and to St. Paul complex director in 2015.

He is heavily connected to University of Wisconsin – Madison and their athletic department, having been on the Alumni Association board and served as president of the National W Club Letterwinners’ group in 2010. Recently, Rob just finished his four-year commitment on the University of Wisconsin athletic board in which he served with great pride.

His wife, Christi, and their three children, Jack, Carson and Dara, enjoy the outdoors, skiing, golfing, hiking and skating. If they are not traveling to some of their favorite spots around the U.S., they are involved with all of their kids and their extracurricular activities. From golf to dance, football to hockey, and basketball to soccer, they enjoy the special ties they have with their children.

Mary Johnson

Vice President - Administrative Complex Manager, Private Client Group

Mary joined RBC Wealth Management in 2008 and has been in the financial services industry since 1979. Previously she worked for PaineWebber, E.F. Hutton, Shearson and Smith Barney and managed back office operations and retail offices. In July 2017 Mary transitioned from the Administrative Complex Manager to the Assistant Complex Manager. Mary works closely with Rob, Melissa and Jenn in supervising the daily activities which occur in our St. Paul, Rochester and Stillwater branches. Mary has her Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 66 securities licenses.

In her spare time, Mary enjoys helping her husband with his business and spending time with her family, especially her 4 grandchildren.

Jennifer Laitinen

Vice President, Assistant Complex Manager, Private Client Group

Jenn started with Dain Rauscher in 2000 in Minneapolis and became the assistant complex manager of the St. Paul complex in 2007. She has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having previously worked at RJ Steichen & Co.. Jenn works closely with Rob, Melissa and Mary in the day-to-day supervision of the complex and provides compliance guidance when needed. Jenn has her Series 3, 7, 9, 10 and 66 securities licenses and insurance licenses. She enjoys golfing and spending time with family at the cabin in her spare time.

Amanda Meyer

Complex Operations Manager

Amanda started with RBC Wealth Management in early 2012. She began in operations on the Corporate Actions team before transitioning to the Correspondent and Advisor Services business in 2014. Amanda joined the St. Paul Complex in May 2018 as the Complex Operations Manager and works closely with complex and branch support personnel across the complex to ensure operational activities run efficiently and are carried out with the highest regard for ethical practices, regulatory compliance and adherence to firm policy. Amanda has her Series 7 and 24 securities licenses.

Amanda earned a bachelor’s of science in mathematics with an emphasis in actuarial science in 2010 from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. She spends her spare time with her daughter, Ava, and enjoys being outdoors as often as possible.

Melissa Moser

Vice President - Assistant Complex Manager

Melissa joined RBC Wealth Management in May of 2017 as the administrative complex manager in the St. Paul complex. Starting in the financial services industry in 1996, Melissa holds her Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 66 and Minnesota insurance licenses. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role, having previously worked with Ameriprise, Raymond James and Wells Fargo in various management roles.

Away from the office, Melissa enjoys volunteering and has been a member of several different boards. Her most recent board position was with the St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation where she was involved with events such as St. Paul Winter Carnival. Along with her husband Troy, and their two children, Lauren and Thomas, they enjoy hockey, golf, tennis, yoga, fishing and traveling.

Melissa is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in sociology. As a leader, Melissa sees change as an opportunity to grow. She believes motivation comes from a clear vision, employees are a collection of individuals connected to a higher purpose and work should be fun. As a people manager, she is dedicated to the success of those she manages and sees her role as inspiring others to come together, utilizing everyone’s unique talents, experiences and ideas to build a better future.
