Lauran began her career in the investment industry in 1987 at Alex Brown in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1993, Lauran entered the retail side of the investment business as a registered sales associate and found her niche in the Annapolis area. She has worked closely with her clients on a daily basis for over 25 years. Lauran is a two-time RBC Award of Excellence recipient. Lauran believes her customers are more than just clients and enjoys the close relationships she has developed. Lauran passed her Series 7 and 63 exams. She is a graduate of Villa Julie College, now Stevenson University in Stevenson, Maryland.
Lauran lives on the Eastern Shore in Queenstown, Maryland, with her husband, Pat, and their 2 golden retrievers, Lambeau and Blu. She has two adult children, Jack and Christie. Lauran and her husband enjoy the outdoors, boating on nearby waters, and travelling with family and friends.
