I believe in building strong client relationships based on trust. I accomplish this by implementing long-term proven investment strategies that help guide my clients and their families through the stages of wealth accumulation, wealth protection and, ultimately, obtaining life goals. I believe that a sound retirement plan that accounts for dependable income during your golden years is the key to a peaceful and prosperous retirement.
Qualifications/Professional history/Community
I began my 20+ year career in the financial services industry as a commercial banker for a large global banking group based in southern Minnesota. From there, I transitioned into their wealth management group as a senior private banker before settling into my current role as a financial advisor. I joined RBC Wealth Management in August 2018. I have passed the Series 7 and Series 66 exams, and hold life and health insurance licenses. I have also had extensive training in family wealth planning and individual retirement planning.
Education background
I graduated cum laude from Minnesota State University–Mankato with a degree in corporate finance. I was a past president of the Mankato Area Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, and involved with Kiwanis and the United Way.
Personal
I was born and raised in Faribault, Minnesota. I spent the first 13 years of my career in Mankato before moving to Rochester, Minnesota, in 2009. My wife, Floranne, and I have two children: Colton and Tori. We also have a third child: our black lab, Lacy. I enjoy the outdoors in my spare time—golfing, hiking, hunting and fishing. My true passion, however, is taking advantage of youth sports coaching opportunities with my children.
