I have over 30 years experience in the finance/investment industry, including 20 years with Wells Fargo, leaving as the region’s top advisor to join RBC Wealth Management in 2010. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Accounting degree and was a recipient of the James Wright Hunt Scholarship. I have passed the Series 7, 63, and 66 exams in 27 states and hold my insurance licenses in the areas of Life, Accident and Health.
Born and raised in Duluth, MN, I am married with three boys. My community service includes participation on several area boards along with volunteer services for Grandma's Marathon, Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross, YMCA, UMD Athletics, Damiano Center, First Witness, Adopt-a-Highway, Habitat for Humanity, Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders, Mason's "Fore" Charity, Dick Forbort/Trojan Legacy Fund, the Duluth Central Sports Legacy Scholarship Fund and the United Way. Outside of work and community service I enjoy golf, fishing, hunting, skiing, running, and spending time with my family. I have trained for and completed over two dozen running/inline marathons and will work equally as hard in helping my clients achieve their goals as well.
