Wymond began his career as a financial advisor in 1990 with Richmond-based Branch Cabell, which was founded by his great-grandfather in 1904. In 2001, RBC Dain Rauscher acquired Tucker Anthony which had purchased Branch Cabell. Wymond is the lead advisor for The Cabell Group, with a focus on adding value to all client relationships by becoming a trusted, valuable consultant to you and your family.
Earlier in his career, Wymond held the position of manager of taxable fixed income and fixed income portfolio services at Branch Cabell. He uses his expertise in the fixed income markets to compliment construction of diversified portfolios for clients. He passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams, and holds life and health insurance licenses.
Prior to entering the securities industry, he was a teacher, coach and administrator at The Miller School of Albemarle. He is a graduate of Randolph- Macon College. Wymond lives in the city of Richmond with his wife, Caroline. They have two adult sons, William (also of The Cabell Group) and Jack. Wymond is strongly committed to community service and has served as president of Henrico North Rotary, where he has been an active member and Paul Harris Fellow since 1993. Other areas of support involving child development initiatives include Churchill Academy, Peter Paul, and Read to Them. An avid student of history, Wymond belongs to The Cabell Family Society and the Virginia Society of the Sons of the Revolution. Outside the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and gardening.
