The Carter Group is honored to be nationally recognized for our industry experience and high level of service, now and over the preceding decades. Please find a shortlist of our awards listed below.

Thomas was named a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Thomas was named to AdvisorHub Advisors to Watch in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Thomas was named to Baltimore Magazine’s Select Wealth Managers list in 2013, and their Top Wealth Managers of Baltimore list in 2016.

Since transitioning to RBC in 2007, Thomas has consistently been recognized as a top performing Advisor within the firm. He was a member of the RBC President’s Council from 2008 through 2012, and has been a member of the RBC Chairman’s Council every year from 2013 onward.

While serving as the Branch Director of the Annapolis, MD RBC branch, Thomas received several awards related to his service. He was recognized as a recipient of the RBC Outstanding Complex award in 2013 for achievements within the Mid-Atlantic complex. On Wall Street named Thomas a member of the Top 100 Branch Managers in 2016 and 2017. He was also nationally recognized as the RBC Branch Director of the Year in 2019.

In addition to team endeavors, Thomas has maintained a passion for community service, serving as a member and past Chairman of the Severn School Board of Trustees between 2004 and 2020.

The 2022 Forbes "Best-In-State Wealth Advisors" award was announced April 2022. Data as of 6/30/2021.
