Joe Romero, who is an active member of KCC, helped to develop Kamp Kiwanis Summer Camp. This camp was developed specifically for our local youth who may not have had the ability to attend summer camp. Each year Joe Romero acts as Activities Director for the 5-day camp. The mission of Kamp Kiwanis is to foster and promote independence, leadership skills, confidence building, and teamwork in a safe and healthy environment at no cost to the family.
The camp has continued to evolve each year exceeding the expectations of all involved. This generous grant, along with Joe’s dedication and commitment to Kamp Kiwanis, continues to be a success touching the lives of our youth.
