Bob has been serving clients since 2001 when he first teamed up with his father-in-law, Richard DiChiaro. He began his career at Legg Mason, followed by stops at Bear Stearns and JP Morgan before arriving at RBC in 2013. He is committed to serving clients with a multigenerational focus while providing custom portfolio management strategies to high-net-worth clients with an emphasis on financial planning and comprehensive wealth management.
Bob earned his certificate of Financial Planning from Bryant University in 2006. He is a frequent member of RBC Wealth Management’s elite Executive, Chairman and Premier Council which are awarded annually to the highest producers of the firm. He is also proud to have been named to Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor list in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 as well as being named to the 2026 Barron's Top Financial Advisors List. Bob has passed the series 7,63, 65 FINRA exams and holds licenses in life & health, long-term care, fixed & variable annuity and holds the NMLS license for mortgage lending originated through City National Bank.
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Bob moved to the United States in 1986 to pursue his education and passion for Hockey. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1994 from Northeastern university in Boston, MA and has resided in the New England area ever since. Bob is married with two children and lives in Wellesley, MA. Away from the office, he enjoys traveling to new destinations with his family and involved in several non-profit and community organizations, including the MS Society. Bob is also an avid marathon runner completing more than 20 marathons in the last 10 years, including 4 Boston marathons, New York and Chicago.
