Laura began her career in the financial services industry in 1995 as a trust officer at a major national bank. Ultimately, she was a lead client advisor and Vice President, Trust Officer and Investment Specialist for the “Private Client Group.”
In 2002, Laura was recognized as a "Great Woman of Texas" and in 2007, along with Kirk, she was honored as one of Tarrant County's outstanding members of the community under the age of 40. Laura is dedicated to her community, currently serving as President of the Fort Worth Trailblazer Chapter of the National Charity League, past president of the Fort Worth Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma and an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Fort Worth Club and River Crest Country Club. Laura and her family are active members of Christ Chapel Bible Church.
Laura enjoys spending her time outside of the office at the family's horse farm and venue. She also enjoys biking, running, fishing, traveling and reading. She and Kirk have been married since 1998 and have three beautiful daughters, twins, Katie Anne and Reagan, and Olivia Jane.

During her tenure at the bank, Laura gained experience in business development, portfolio and investment management, client advisory services including trust and estate planning, business succession planning, and tax planning. Her experience in private client services has shaped the team’s unique client service model, which offers a 360 degree approach to managing clients’ finances in a way designed to best help them attain their individual goals. Obtaining her Certified Financial Planner® certificate has equipped Laura to offer comprehensive, quantitative financial planning resources to the team’s clients. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training, and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including investments, taxes, insurance, estate, and retirement planning.
Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in economics and political science from Vanderbilt University. She has passed the Series 7, 63, 66 and 33 securities exams, as well as the Group I Life and Health insurance licenses. In 2007, Laura earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certificate. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association as well as RBC’s Women’s Association of Financial Advisors.
