Bob’s career in the investment industry began in 1998 at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, working in both the private client and institutional investment divisions. He was also an investment instructor for Metropolitan Community College Adult Education Program for many years. Bob joined RBC Wealth Management in 2006 to service clients and provide customized wealth management solutions. He passed the Series 7, 10, 11, 31 and 65 investment and securities exams and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech from Westminster College in 1983 and the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certification from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.
Bob resides in Omaha with his wife, Caris, and two children, Courtney and Bob Jr. He also has three grandchildren, Hudson, Graham and Whit. Bob is involved in his community and is past president of the Downtown Kiwanis Club. He enjoys golf, scuba diving, travel, tennis, hiking, hunting and fishing.
