Kansas City Make-A-Wish

The 2017 Bubble Ball for Wishes Sake was a unique Kansas City Make-A-Wish fundraising event to help make local wishes come true. The evening began with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails before featuring a runway show and art gallery exhibit designed by local artists and companies using bubble wrap! Pieces were inspired by local Kansas City Wish Kids' favorite movies. This one of a kind event will featured KC Wish Kids, live music and much more. Make-A-Wish Missouri and Greater Kansas City granted 15 Wishes that evening and raise nearly $150,000. 20 Local Artists provided Bubble Wrap Art and local vendors and businesses pulled together to donate items for silent and live auction. RBC Wealth Management Sponsored 1 Full Wish by Purchasing a table at the event and supported by attending this first year gala.

The 2018 Bubble Ball for Wishes Sake will be held on September 28th, 2018 at The Abbott Event Space. RBC Wealth Management is once again a proud sponsor of this event and KC Wish Kids. In its second year The Kansas City Bubble Ball for Wishes Sake hopes to double in size and funds raised by providing a fabulous evening to 450 guests and raise $300,000 to grant 30 local wishes.

Objective Zero

Objective Zero has had one goal in mind since they created the organization, to help prevent suicide through enhanced social connectedness and give access to suicide prevention resources. Objective Zero has created an app that offers a network of resources for their users, many of whom are veterans. Members can use the app to connect with someone that they can relate to and share their difficulties. The Kulesa group has worked to find grants and funding so the organization can continue to grow their outreach into communities that desperately need help.

Paws4People

The Kansas City Complex at RBC was recently visited by a representative for Paws4People. The organization has a simple philosophy, to transform lives. They provide highly trained service dogs to children and adults with disabilities. The dogs are trained in over 200 commands and go through a rigorous two year training program that will fit the client’s specific needs. Pictured below is Seth, a veteran, and his service dog HARRIS along with our team. Seth spoke on the incredible need for these animals and how they have affected people for the better including himself. We are a proud partner of this incredible organization.
