In 2005, Phil graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul with degrees in Finance and Philosophy. He then joined JP Morgan Chase in Chicago as a banker while his wife Sara studied at John Marshall Law School. After several years as one of the top bankers in the Chicago Market, Phil and Sara moved to Minneapolis and Phil fulfilled a lifelong dream by joining The Mehrer/Stromberg Group. At JP Morgan, he specialized in financial planning and strategy for High Net Worth families and small businesses. He has honed that expertise over the past 10 years at RBC, focusing on the major financial transitions our clients go through including the sale of a business, a family inheritance or a long awaited retirement.
Phil and Sara live in Plymouth with their two boys. They enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking together as a family and serving in their church. Phil mentors seniors in Business at Bethel University and also serves as an Advisory Board Leader for the Twin Cities chapter of Christian Business Fellowship. Phil and Sara actively support numerous charities including the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota, Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge and New Life Family Services.
