Ted draws on more than 35 years of financial industry experience to advise institutions, individuals and families on sector analysis, asset allocation and security selection. He also guides clients on how to structure portfolios with an emphasis on risk management.
Professional experience
Ted was inspired by both his grandfather who worked in the financial industries in New York and his father who worked in finance in Chicago. Both men inspired Ted and are huge components to the success and accomplishments of his career. He got his start in 1985 after graduating from Arizona State University and had positions with EF Hutton and Morgan Stanley before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2022. Ted completed the Morgan Stanley senior financial advisors, senior consultant and investment consultant program from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Ted holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification. The Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification is the peak international, technical portfolio construction program for investment consultants, analysts, financial advisors and wealth management professionals. CIMA® certification continues to be the highest level of advanced investment education for client-facing advisors. In addition, Ted passed the Series 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 24, 53, 63 and 65 exams, which he attained throughout the course of his illustrious career.
Personal life
Ted has been married for over 30 years and is the proud father of three children. Above all else, Ted loves being with his family. He donates his time and resources to several local charitable organizations. Ted is also extremely passionate about giving back to the community and serves as an active member of the United States Marshals Posse District of Arizona. Ted is a Knight Grand Cross of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
