Jay began his career in the financial services industry in 1989 and has since dedicated his professional life to finance. He received his licensing during his junior year at the University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 1990 and also obtained his securities license in that same year.
Over the years, Jay has held significant positions at various esteemed firms. From 1995 to 2009, he worked with Piper Jaffray/UBS, followed by a tenure at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America from 2009 to 2019. Jay joined RBC Wealth Management in 2019.
In addition to his degree, Jay has furthered his expertise by earning the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of Business in 2005. He successfully passed several designation examinations, including Series 7, 31, 62, 63 and 66.
When working with clients, Jay’s primary goal is to provide a holistic approach to wealth planning with a strong emphasis on financial preservation. His commitment to community involvement is evident through his participation in several organizations, including the Ferrari Club of America, the Morgan Adams Foundation—which supports research and services for children with cancer— and the Saint Michael’s Society, a men’s Italian-American organization focused on charitable endeavors in the Denver area.
Outside of his professional life, Jay enjoys spending time with his family, which includes two sons, Roman (11) and Enzo (8), who are actively involved in competitive hockey and skiing. The family also shares their home with a mini Bernedoodle named Nico. In his spare time, Jay enjoys collecting cars and motorcycles, reflecting his passion for both the automotive world and adventure.
