As co-founder of The Seline, Rodriguez Wealth Management Group, Phil’s core belief is that to build trust, every client relationship must be developed through a process of discovery, planning and personalized recommendations. Because of this belief, he has earned the respect of his clients during more than 35 years in the financial services industry, particularly in retirement planning.
Phil graduated from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He began his career with Dain Bosworth in 1987, working as an advisor until he transitioned to Smith Barney in 1996. He was with the company for 13 years until it was acquired by Morgan Stanley in 2009. In 2014, Phil transferred to RBC Wealth Management, leading the office as branch director and partnering with Malcolm and Courtney on client relationships.
Phil lives in Bettendorf with his wife, Renee. Renee works for John Deere in Moline, Illinois. Their son, Bryce, works for American Express in New York City, and son, Blake, works for PWC in New York City and is a graduate student at Columbia University. Phil and Renee are members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and are also members of Crow Valley Golf Club. Phil is an active member of the University of Iowa Alumni Association. Phil and his family enjoy traveling together and staying active by biking, running and swimming.
