Amy’s career in the financial services industry spans almost four decades. Her clients include individuals, families, foundations and corporate retirement plans. Amy focuses on working with clients to identify their long-term goals and objectives and helps them determine their priorities as they transition from one stage of life to the next, so these transitions can be achieved with confidence.
Her approach is based on a customized wealth plan and clear understanding of risk tolerance and time horizons. Her passion for her work is rooted in her one on-one relationships with each client and seeing them live out their dreams and the life they worked so hard to achieve for themselves and their family.
In addition to managing her investment practice, Amy mentors young women financial advisors at RBC Wealth Management as part of the Women’s Association of Financial Advisors (WAFA). She also served as the branch director for the Washington, D.C. office for 12 years, before stepping down in 2021 after tripling net revenue, to focus more wholly on her growing team and business.
In 2016, Amy received the RBC Wealth Management Gail Winslow award in recognition of her exemplary efforts in advancing women advisors. She has been an RBC President’s Council member since 2014 and was named to the Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State list in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in 2023 and 2024.
Amy is married with four children and is a Washington, D.C. native. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College, passed the Series 7, 9, 10, and 65 securities exams, and holds life, health and variable annuities licenses. Amy is an eight-time marathon finisher and multiple half marathon finisher. She is on the board of directors of the Barker Adoption Foundation and consistently participates with the Washington, D.C. branch in many outstanding community service events.
