David joined The Sullivan Group in 2013, as an intern while attending the University of Pittsburgh. Since graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, David has passed his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams and secured his PA resident life, accident, and health insurance licenses.
Realizing he wanted to play a more integral role in helping clients achieve their goals, David attended Duquesne University to obtain his Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business.
At the end of 2018, David earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses training and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including ethics, investments, taxes, insurance, estate and retirement planning. These topics of study allow the CFP® professional to enhance their client relationships and add value toward helping clients achieve their financial objectives.
David concentrates his talents on portfolio management, financial planning, and client strategy updates. He looks forward to building more intimate client relationships and continuing the team’s reputation of exceptional client service.
In 2022, David was recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest. The chosen honorees exemplify leadership qualities, are active in their communities, and have excelled within their chosen industry. Since then, he has continued to support the mission of the foundation by accepting a position on the alumni committee.
In his spare time, David enjoys listening to music, traveling, hiking and cooking for his friends and family.
