Dan founded The Thompson Wealth Management Group in 2004 at Merrill Lynch. Dan has 25+ years of experience in the financial and accounting industries. Prior to his time at Merrill Lynch, Dan was a CPA at EY (previously Ernst &Young, LLP) and V4 Consulting. Dan was a student athlete at Indiana University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Professionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. Dan and his wife, Denise, live in Westfield with their three children, Mia, Max, and Eva. When Dan is away from work, he spends most of his time coaching youth sports or traveling with his family. He is actively involved at Guerin Catholic High School as an assistant football coach, President of the Golden Eagle Booster Club, and a member of other miscellaneous committees. Dan also serves as an active member at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and the Indy Sports Foundation.
