Joe has over 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career at Westonka Investments in 1987. In 1991, he joined John G. Kinnard & Co. until joining RBC Wealth Management in 1997. Joe achieved his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP) designation in 2004. As a co-senior partner, Joe is involved with day-to-day practice management and investment strategy. Joe’s primary area of focus is providing personalized investment planning through our wealth management approach. He has passed the Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 exams as well as an insurance license.
Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1987. He coached the University of St. Thomas wrestling team from 1987 to 1993. In 1991, Joe was named the NCAA Wrestling Coach of the Year.
Joe and his wife Michelle live in Chaska. They have two children: Amanda and Matthew. Joe and Michelle regularly volunteer with organizations that serve their community. Joe enjoys biking, fishing, hiking, and nordic skiing. Spending time with friends at the Chaska Curling Center is his latest hobby.
