Mike has been helping individuals and families pursue their financial goals since 2012, when he joined the Thorn Gribben Wealth Management Group. Beginning his career as a financial advisor at the age of 24, Mike has spent more than a decade providing personalized wealth management and investment guidance, developing long-term relationships built on trust, thoughtful planning, and disciplined investment strategies.
Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has passed both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities exams. As a Senior Portfolio Director, he works closely with clients to develop customized investment portfolios and customized financial plans designed to help clients build, preserve, and transition wealth across generations.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Mike distinguished himself both academically and athletically as a member of the Golden Gopher wrestling program. He captured a Big Ten Championship, earned NCAA All-American honors twice at 141 pounds, and ranks among the top ten in career pins in the program’s storied history. He was also recognized as an Academic All-Big Ten selection and received his team’s Most Dedicated Award.
Whether working with clients or coaching young athletes, Mike believes success is built on preparation, discipline, and long-term relationships. He and his wife, Andrea, enjoy raising their three children, Jackson, Emma, and Molly, in Saint Michael, Minnesota, where family, community, and service remain at the center of their lives.
