Since 2000, Andy has been working in the financial services industry with RBC Wealth Management and its predecessor companies. In 2002, he left the finance and accounting department to become a financial advisor, and the change provided him a career that he is incredibly passionate about. Andy is committed to helping people find solutions to improve their financial future and dedicated to the stewardship of resources entrusted to his care. In addition to working with individuals and families, he also focuses on advising business owners, professional groups, foundations and endowments.
Andy graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in accounting and management information systems from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to completing the curriculum required to be a financial advisor, Andy has advanced his educational background through several training programs, including passing his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and the Accredited Wealth Management (AWM) program.
Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Andy resided in the Twin Cities for 15 years before his family moved back north to Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He now splits his time between the Edina, Duluth, Grand Rapids offices to better serve clients in the northern part of the state. Andy and his wife, Kelly, have five children: Will, Charlie, Sam, Louie, and Remi. He is an outdoors and sports enthusiast who values spending time with his family and being active in the community.
