Cory joined Transcend Wealth Solutions Group in 2021 and brings over 25 years of industry experience to the team. After spending the first 10 years of his career in the financial services industry as a research analyst in the bond capital markets space, Cory moved into finance and operations management for several small businesses. As a Chartered Financial Analyst®, Cory’s key role on the team is in the analysis and review of investment vehicles in client portfolios.
Cory graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and a minor in environmental studies from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. In addition, Cory completed an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation through the CFA Institute program.
Cory grew up in northeastern Minnesota, and after residing in the Twin Cities for 10 years, has resided in Grand Rapids since 2005 with his wife, Anne, and three children, Ada, Hayden and Gus. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and stays active in the community by coaching youth sports and serving on nonprofit boards.
