The primary goal of our practice is to work with clients to help them identify their dreams and goals, and then work with them to understand the financial implications and what needs to be done to reach those goals. Along with members of the RBC team, Ben is committed to serving clients. He provides individual solutions and thoughtful strategies to empower clients to make their financial dreams a reality. Above all else, Ben values building relationships and developing trust.
Ben joined RBC Wealth Management in January 2022—bringing more than two decades of industry experience to the table. Ben began his career in financial services in 2001 at Western & Southern Life, where he primarily offered life and health insurance and annuities. A graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Ben quickly moved up the ranks—becoming a sales manager within his first year of work, then being promoted to agency manager, and running his own agency a few years later. In 2005, Ben joined Fifth Third Securities as an investment executive (financial advisor). During a more than 16-year tenure with Fifth Third, Ben was able to grow his client base and build lasting relationships.
Ben is active in the Huntington community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Marshall University Alumni Association and is also active with his alma mater’s Big Green Association, as well as the M Club for former athletes. He also plays with a locally successful rock cover band.
He lives in Proctorville, Ohio, with his wife and two daughters. Ben enjoys traveling with his family and friends, playing golf, playing music and avidly following Marshall athletics as a three-season ticket holder.
