About our team

Ted joined RBC Wealth Management in 2009 and has worked in the financial services industry for over 23 years. He holds an MBA from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire. He has passed the Series 3, 7, 31, 63 and 65 FINRA examinations and holds Maine State Life and Health Insurance licenses. In addition, he earned his Certified Financial Planner Certification ™ in 2007.

Ted grew up in the southern U.S. spending summers in Christmas Cove, Maine. He eventually made it to Maine permanently, moving to Portland with his wife Mary in 2002. With their dog Gracie, they continue to enjoy all that Maine has to offer sharing time with family and friends sailing and generally mucking around in boats. They also enjoy what winter has to offer and take every advantage to spend time on the slopes. With a philosophy of volunteerism and philanthropy, instilled in him by his parents, Ted has given his time to The United Way of Greater Portland and to Literacy Volunteers of Maine. He currently serves as a Trustee of the University System of New Hampshire chairing the Educational Excellence Committee and serving on the Financial Affairs, Investments and Executive Committees.
