After graduating from Ithaca College and competing in the Division III World Series, Andrew began his career with Northwestern Mutual, a highly rated insurance company. During his two years there he was a financial representative working alongside other financial advisors, solving various insurance/planning needs and building his own clientele. He passed the Series 7, 63 and 66 securities exams and holds life/health licensure.
A lifelong dream of Andrew’s was to work with his father, so in 2015 he joined Jim as a financial advisor at UBS. Initially working elsewhere allowed Andrew to bring a different perspective to the team, and the father-son combination quickly agreed the best way to help clients achieve their goals was to lead with wealth planning. Andrew became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and made it his mission to fully understand clients’ concerns, goals and dreams before making investment recommendations. As well as creating wealth plans for clients, Andrew spends time alongside Jim every day to learn his investment philosophy and what it takes to become a successful investor.
After much due diligence, Andrew, Jim and Pam decided to move the business to RBC Wealth Management in September 2021. The team agreed it was the best way to ultimately help clients achieve financial security and grow the business. The team works with individuals, families and business owners alike and is always open to having a conversation with someone seeking advice. Investing, especially over the short term, can be volatile and when emotions get involved it can lead to poor decisions at the worst moments. Andrew resides in Randolph, New Jersey, with his wife, Maeghan, son, Griffin, and dog, Rogan. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, fishing and playing cribbage.
