Rob is a second-generation financial advisor who joined our team in 2014. His unique background in both law and accounting allows him to take a comprehensive view of his clients’ financial lives and develop investment and retirement strategies that are mindful of tax implications. Before joining RBC Wealth Management, Rob spent 15 years advising individuals and businesses on a broad range of legal and financial matters as both a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He earned dual degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Boston College and graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a Juris Doctor degree. Rob is licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
A proud Duluth native and graduate of the Marshall School, Rob enjoys golf, playing music, and spending quality time with his wife, Faith, and their two children. He also enjoys outdoor adventures with their dog, Kirby.
Rob is an active volunteer in the community. He has served as a pro bono attorney for the LegalCORPS Small Business Clinic and the Gary New-Duluth Veterans Memorial. He also supports organizations including Shriners Hospitals for Children, Eastridge Community Church, and the GND Development Alliance. Rob has served on the Marshall School Next Horizon Capital Campaign Committee and the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Duluth Steering Committee.
