He began his professional journey in 2006 as a systems analyst at Cadaret Grant, an independent brokerage firm, where he honed problem-solving skills within the realm of financial software. This experience provided invaluable insights into effective business interactions and solidified his passion for financial services and interpersonal relationships.
In 2007, Philip joined his father, Peter, at AG Edwards & Sons, expanding his expertise and passing the Series 7 and 66 exams while earning an insurance credential during rigorous training in St. Louis. The attainment of the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation highlighted Philip’s commitment to delivering personalized financial guidance.
In 2008, during the financial crisis, Philip and his father aligned with RBC Wealth Management, demonstrating resilience and dedication to serving clients amidst adversity.
In 2019, after 42 years of service, his father retired from the financial services industry. Philip embraced the legacy established by his father and remains steadfast in upholding their shared commitment to excellence, poised to continue his father’s vision into the future.

In leisure, Philip enjoys the tranquil waters of Skaneateles Lake and fostering connections within the esteemed Skaneateles Country Club. A lifelong sports enthusiast, his passion for lacrosse and soccer underscores the importance of balance and vitality in life.
In 2021, he embraced a new chapter in life by marrying Denise Phair and now enjoys his role of step-parent to Shyanne and Cameron.
