The Charlotte office volunteers with Ronald McDonald House-Charlotte, preparing dinner. Volunteer Night is always fun. We are happy to serve families during their sometimes lengthy stay at the Ronald McDonald House while they receive treatment at the nearby children’s hospital. Ronald McDonald House
Recently, we had the pleasure of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. Our team gathered in the kitchen and cooked dinner for the guests of the house. On the menu: penne pasta with a red cream sauce and italian sausage, Caesar salad, fresh sauteed green beans and garlic bread. We prepared enough to serve 40 people! The families seemed very grateful to have a hot, homemade meal at the end of an exhausting day. The guests in the house are there because they have a sick child that is receiving treatment at the nearby children's hospital. Meeting and talking with the families was a rewarding experience, and we will definitely look to volunteer at the House again! We also met Brandy, the Marvelous Mini Horse, a therapy animal that volunteers at the house twice a month. She was part of our group photo!
