Proud to support our community

RBC Wealth Management is pleased to announce that our Charlotte branch was awarded Community Services Branch of the Year in 2016. This award is given to one branch office out of nearly 200 locations that exemplifies RBC's culture and belief of supporting the communities where we live and work. Here are just a few examples of how the Charlotte office gives back to our community:

  • Volunteering once a quarter at Friendship Trays
  • Making dinner for the guests of Ronald McDonald House-Charlotte
  • Sponsoring events at the Wing Haven Gardens
  • Creating awareness for the Paws4Vets program
  • Donating to United Service Organizations (USO)
  • Participating in and raising money for the Pancreatic Cancer 5k
  • Sponsoring golf tournaments that benefit local charities like Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Green Brier Humane Society, and Save Your Skin-Melanoma Awareness

In addition, there are many more organizations that are supported throughout the year by individual employees through volunteering and donations. We invite you to reach out to your Financial Advisor to learn more about their involvement!

Annual community shred event

Led by Russell Mansfield, the Charlotte Branch Employees of RBC Wealth Management hosted a Shred Event on April 27, 2019, accommodating 138 families.

Ronald McDonald House

The Charlotte office volunteers with Ronald McDonald House-Charlotte by preparing dinner for their guests. Volunteer Night is always fun! We are happy to serve families during their sometimes lengthy stay at the Ronald McDonald House while they receive treatment at the nearby children’s hospital. Meeting and talking with the families is a rewarding experience, and we hope that having a hot, prepared meal at the end of a long day provides them some much needed comfort.
