Mary began her career in 1991 and with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, she understands the importance and benefit of forging solid long-term relationships. Mary’s ability to cultivate connections enables her to create and execute solutions that address her clients’ most pressing financial and investment needs, while being sensitive to their unique concerns regarding risk mitigation. As one component of a highly functioning team of financial advisors, Mary takes a detail-oriented and care-centered physician’s approach to her clients’ financial health in maintaining a healthy and robust financial portfolio. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst® and Chartered Retirement Planning ConsultantSM, Mary’s focus on investment management has enabled many clients to enter retirement feeling confident that they can enjoy their retirement years, while also knowing that they have measures of risk management, investment style diversification and tax-considerate emphasis across their portfolio that will enable them to address some of the common financial-related issues that can come with aging.
Mary graduated from South Dakota State University (SDSU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and a minor in military science. Mary recently served as the SDSU Foundation Board of Governors and Council of trustee’s chair and currently serves on the South Dakota Investment Council Board. She has taken and passed numerous licensing exams and completes ongoing education to keep her skills up to date.
Mary and her husband, Dave, enjoy traveling and spending time in the great outdoors. Mary and Dave have three adult children: Megan, Molly and Maxwel.
