Lisa has assisted clients with their financial needs for nearly 30 years—first as a mortgage banker starting in 1995 and then as a financial advisor since 2005. Becoming a wealth advisor was a natural career progression because of Lisa’s desire to educate and guide clients to meet their financial goals. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in July 2020, she worked at Merrill Lynch and UBS.
Focused on building relationships with clients to help them achieve their long-term financial goals, Lisa and her team are committed to going beyond strategic money management to help clients traverse life’s challenges that impact their finances.
Lisa passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams, has relevant state insurance licenses, holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional credential, and earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In addition to serving clients, Lisa is committed to serving the community. She is a member of the National Association fo Women Business Owners and participates on the national advocary Committee. She is also a member of the Women's President's Organizaton.
Former board membership includes Secondhand Hounds, founder of Twin Cities’ Second Saturday divorce workshops, a former board member for Women Winning, a former board member and past president for Zenon Dance Company, and a former chair of the Planned Parenthood Gala.
Lisa splits her time in residence, living in Uptown Minneapolis during the summer and fall and in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, during the winter.
She and her husband also own a Motorcoach (their COVID-19 purchase) and travel throughout Florida during the winter months. The “Winston” (named after their first dog) has a stand-up desk, so makes working remotely a great experience when traveling. PADI certified, Lisa and her husband scuba dive regularly in the Florida Keys and Lisa volunteers for an organization doing Reef repair and reconstruction. Lisa loves to inline skate and enjoys doing so on the trails in both cities where she lives. Having completed several rollerblading marathons, Lisa hopes to achieve over 1,000 miles of skating.
Lisa also enjoys her three miniature schnauzers (all adopted from rescue organizations) and traveling across the country to see clients, friends and family.
