As the Minneapolis complex director, Tom’s main goal is to continue growing the Minneapolis complex by retaining and recruiting the top Financial Advisors and Client Associates. Hiring and maintaining who he believes are the best people helps create a positive, successful environment that is based on service, stewardship and excellence. In this role, Schulenberg will be responsible for 4 branches and more than 100 financial advisors in the Minneapolis, Edina, Wayzata and Minnetonka offices.

Emphasizing collegiality, client service and community involvement, Tom tries to identify places where he can help add value to the business of the Financial Advisors in his complex. In addition to fostering a cooperative environment, he encourages financial advisors to be entrepreneurial, while providing them with the necessary resources to support their style of business.

“Tom has been a proven leader at both of RBC’s Wayzata and Edina offices and well-respected by the financial advisors he works with, Tom has a wealth of knowledge and depth of leadership skills needed to lead the Minneapolis complex.”
- Wally Chapman, Divisional Director
