Responsibly managing what others entrust to our care is a core stewardship value that defines us as a company and guides us as wealth managers. Beyond putting clients first and helping them achieve their financial goals, it also means we invest our time, talent and financial resources to support worthy causes that benefit the communities where we live, work and do business.

Minneapolis complex raises $10k for those in need

This November, for the second annual Minneapolis complex charity event, employees organized a raffle to raise money to support two causes important to the complex: hurricane relief efforts in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands and the work of Interfaith Outreach, a local non-profit dedicated to helping Twin Cities families overcome barriers and reach new heights. Together, the complex raised more than $10,000 to help people in need.

“Breaking Bald” fundraiser generates over $55,000 in employee donations

Eleven RBC employee volunteers + more than $55,000 in donations + several pairs of clippers = one big donation to support cancer research.

As part of a firm-wide fundraiser called "Really Battling Cancer; Breaking Bald" on Monday, August 3, 2015, eleven RBC WM-U.S. employees shaved their heads to help raise money for the University of Minnesota Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. Complex directors Dan Ball, Warren Bischoff, Jeb Bundock, Wally Chapman, Mike Crowell, and Rob Spawn organized the fundraiser as a way to help RBC WM-U.S. employees show their support in a tangible way, either through donations or by shaving their heads.

To date, RBC employees have helped raise more than $55,000 for pancreatic cancer research. In addition to the fundraiser, the RBC Foundation – USA is making a separate gift to support the important work of the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
