Professional Background
Stuart brings an institutional investment background to his work as an advisor. He began his career at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he worked as a senior quantitative analyst as part of a team responsible for managing approximately $20 billion in client assets. That experience continues to shape his approach today, emphasizing disciplined portfolio construction, risk management and evidence-based decision making.
Stuart is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Oregon’s Clark Honors College and passed the Series 7 and 66 exams.

Personal
Stuart was born and raised in the Portland metro area and lives in Portland with his wife, Meredith, and their two children, Madeleine and George. In his free time, Stuart enjoys cycling, snowboarding, hiking and mountaineering. He is a member of the Portland-area climbing club, the Mazamas. He also enjoys playing soccer, supporting the Portland Timbers and playing guitar.
