Qualifications
I have over 30 years of industry experience, beginning at Robert W. Baird and then joining RBC Wealth Management in 1994.
Most recently, I have earned the firm’s internal, professional designation of accredited Wealth Manager (AWM). By attaining the AWM designation, I have demonstrated advanced knowledge of the firms’ wealth management process with a concentration in the areas of business and retirement planning, insurance solutions, charitable giving, advanced investment strategies, and estate planning.
Prior to this, I received the PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional designation. Although I am not required to hold this certification as a Financial Consultant at RBC Wealth Management, I chose to pursue it for educational purposes. The studies emphasize: plan sponsor fiduciary issues, deferred compensation and retirement planning for ERISA plans. This accreditation requires passing a final examination and on-going continuing education related to new investment strategies and trends in the retirement industry.
In 2009 I was recognized by Milwaukee Magazine as one of the top wealth managers in the Milwaukee, WI area based on customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting financial objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations, and overall satisfaction.
I have been the recipient of numerous chairman and president council awards, which recognize the outstanding achievements of RBC Wealth Management’s financial advisors.
Additionally, I have completed coursework toward my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
I attended Indiana University and Butler University where I received my BA degree.
Personal
Currently I reside in Mequon, Wisconsin with my husband, Reed. I enjoy gardening and running to keep up with my two energetic standard poodles. In the community, I serve on the board of directors for Professional Dimensions, a professional women’s group in SE Wisconsin dedicated to providing leadership, mentoring, and advancement of women leaders. I also do volunteer work for a Milwaukee inner-city, community development organization.
