James began his career with a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 1987 as a financial advisor.  He holds his Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities registrations and several insurance licenses -- including life, accident and health.  He became a Portfolio Manager in 2007.  A portfolio manager is the person responsible for investing client assets, implementing their investment strategy and managing the day-to-day portfolio trading.  He became an Accredited Wealth Manager in 2010.  This means he has advanced knowledge of key wealth management strategies that may be important to high net worth clients, including investments, retirement planning, insurance, charitable giving, and estate planning, including business succession solutions.  He became a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) in 2015.  RICP's receive specific training to help clients maintain their customary standard of living throughout retirement, to address income gaps, to create an estate pland and to limit risk.  He is a member of the Investment Management Consultant's Association and he holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He took graduate courses in urban planning for two years at George Washington University.  Jim has been married to his wife Bitsy since 1972 and they have two children and two grandchildren.

After serving as a U.S. Army officer in Germany for four years, Kurt began his financial services career in 1980 as an assistant vice president and financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. He joined a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 1990, where he served as branch manager of the Lancaster branch for nine years. He holds his Series 7, 8, 31, 63 and 65 securities registrations and several insurance licenses-- including life, accident and health. He became a Portfolio Manager in 2007. A portfolio manager is the person responsible for investing client assets, implementing their investment strategy and managing the day-to-day portfolio trading. He became an Accredited Wealth Manager in 2011. This means he has advanced knowledge of key wealth management strategies that may be important to high net worth clients, including investments, retirement planning, insurance, charitable giving, and estate planning, including business succession solutions. He became a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) in 2016.  RICP's receive specific training to help clients maintain their customary standard of living throughout retirement, to address income gaps, to create an estate pland and to limit risk. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Virginia Military Institute, where he was the top economics graduate for the class of 1976. He is a past director and chairman of the Homestead Village Retirement Community, past director of the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County, past president and current member of the Lancaster Chapter of the American Business Club and past chairman of the environment committee of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Kurt has been married to his wife Cindy since 1976.They have three daughters and eleven grandchildren.

Hope joined the financial services industry in 1999, when she joined Salomon Smith Barney as a sales assistant. She joined a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2001. She holds her Series 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations and is a notary public. Hope studied nursing at Millersville University/Lancaster General Hospital Nursing School. She and her husband have been married since 2009 and have three children. She volunteers in programs in the community. She is the team marketing specialist and is responsible for planning all of our client appreciation events. Hope and Brandi are in charge of all operational services our practice offers.

Brandi Eager

Brandi began her career in the financial services industry in 2002 as a wire operator/cashier at a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo. There she eventually became the Operations Manager and Registered Client Associate. She has been at RBC Wealth Management since 2007 as the Branch Service Manager and an Investment Associate. Brandi holds her Series 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations. Brandi and Hope are in charge of all operational services our practice offers.
