Jeff has been working in the financial services industry since 2000, driven by a lifelong passion for the profession. He began his career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones from 2000 to 2008, then advanced to financial advisor and practice owner at Raymond James from 2008 to 2021 before joining RBC Wealth Management in September 2021.
Jeff’s approach centers on leveraging RBC Wealth Management’s global menu of resources to create thoughtful, creative and customized solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. His primary goal is taking time to listen and understand client needs while keeping them informed about changes to the investment opportunity landscape, including Roth limits, Roth conversions, qualified charitable distributions and donor-advised funds.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational leadership with magna cum laude honors from Montana State University–Billings. Jeff passed the Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 exams.
Jeff has a strong commitment to community service. He served four consecutive elected terms (16 years) as a member of the Garden City Council, including six years as council president from 2006 to 2021. He also served 16 years as a Garden City urban renewal agency commissioner from 2008 to 2023, chairing the agency from 2020 through the end of his term. He is currently serving his second four-year term as an elected fire district commissioner for the North Ada County Fire and Rescue District. When not working, Jeff enjoys hiking in the Boise Foothills and pursuing culinary interests while entertaining family and friends. He is married to his wife, Kate, and they have two adult daughters. Jeff is a devoted fan of the San Francisco Giants and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.
