Song has worked in the financial services industry since graduating from the University of Maryland in 1986. Over nearly 40 years, he has dedicated significant time to advancing his education and expertise in investment management.
In 2007, Song earned the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) certification from The College for Financial Planning in conjunction with The Wharton School of Business. He continued his professional development by completing the Graduate Wealth Management Program at Wharton in 2009. In 2012, he obtained the Retirement Income Planning Certification, and in 2014, he earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Song worked with Johnston Lemon & Company and Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. His practice focuses on managing client assets through the transition into retirement, as well as supporting clients who are already retired. Song is also a member of the American Finance Association.
