I have been working in the financial services industry since graduating from the University of Maryland in 1986. In the more than 30 years since, I have spent a significant amount of time honing my education in investment management. In 2007, I received the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor certification from The College for Financial Planning in conjunction with The Wharton School of Business. In 2009, I completed the Graduate Wealth Management Program with Wharton. In 2012, I obtained the Retirement Income Planning Certification and in 2014 I attained the Charter Advisor in Philanthropy Designation (CAP). I worked with both Johnston Lemon & Company and Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC before joining RBC Wealth Management. I specialize in managing clients' assets through the transition into retirement or for those who are currently retired. In 2011, I was named a "Premier Advisor" by the National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices. I am also a member of the American Finance Association.
