Rob began his career as a financial advisor in 1998. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations with a concentration in business and economics. He also served in the United States Army Reserve as an intelligence officer. On active duty, Rob served two tours in Korea with support groups of the National Security Agency (NSA). He is married to Iku, originally from Japan, and has two girls, Alyssa and Emily, who attend Baylor University and Plano schools. Both girls are on the drill team and also participate in dance outside of school. With a house full of females—including their maltipoo and two cats—Rob enjoys supporting his girls from the football stands and the dance competition venues.
Rob is an avid reader, movie buff and admitted gamer. When the weather is nice he does his best to keep up with his Stonebridge Group partners on the golf course. Rob is a certified open water diver and enjoys keeping up with his language studies in Korean, Japanese and Spanish. His family is involved with the Saturday Japanese School of Dallas and supports the American Japanese Dallas Society.
As a foundational tenet of his team’s philosophy, Rob continues to build on his experience as a financial advisor by pursuing advanced training to be a better team member and assist our clients with a broad spectrum of wealth management solutions. In addition to his CFP® professional credentials, he also holds RBC’s Accredited Wealth Manager designation as well as the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®).
