Maximize your IRA contributions to take advantage of tax benefits

With tax season approaching, now is a good time to review your traditional or Roth IRA contributions before you file your taxes. You can make your 2023 contributions until April 15, 2024, and you may lower your tax bill. The limits are $6,500 or $7,500 if you’re 50 or older.

By maxing out your IRA contributions before the April tax deadline, you can give your money more time to deliver tax-deferred, compounded growth. Over time, that can potentially add up. Contact us to discuss the possibility of maximizing your 2023 traditional and Roth IRA contributions before April 15, 2024.

2023 / 2024 dollar limitations for retirement plans

Some new limitations will apply to retirement plans and other benefit plans in 2024 as a result of cost-of-living adjustments made by the IRS and the Social Security Administration. Learn more about the limits for 2024.
