Giving back to our communities

At RBC Wealth Management, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work through philanthropy, volunteerism and responsible stewardship. We are very proud to actively support the causes we are passionate about. We invite you to explore the information below to learn more about our community involvement.

WARM NC - November 2024

In our community, there are countless local nonprofits working tirelessly to make a difference, from providing food and shelter to offering education and support to those in need. Volunteering with these organizations is a powerful way to give back to our community and truly see the impact you can make.

On 11/13/2024, our team was able to volunteer with WARM NC. WARM NC's mission is to repair, rebuild, and make homes accessible; and to inspire service, generosity, and hope. Our team was able to help one of WARM NC's Contract Supervisors, Billy Hobbs, on a home that is being made handicap accessible for a veteran and his mother. We were able to assist with laying down floors, and moving furniture to help with the kitchen renovation. By lending your time and skills to an organization such as WARM NC, your efforts help strengthen the foundation of our community and help create lasting change. Every volunteer hour counts and every small action doesn't go unnoticed.

If you're looking a way to give back to your local community in Wilmington, NC - reach out to WARM NC. We believe the work they are doing will last a lifetime in our community!

First Fruit Ministries Food Pantry Volunteer Day - September 2024

Volunteering in our community is a powerful way to make a difference! Last week, our office spent the day at our local food pantry, First Fruit Ministries, helping to sort donations and distribute food to those in need. It was a very eye opening experience to see just how many people are in need of these resources. We were able to serve around 100 families.

It's incredible to see how just a few hours of our time can help so many local families. If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back, consider volunteering at a local food pantry or community organization. Every effort counts, and together we can build a stronger, more compassionate community. Let's uplift one another together!

Back to School Bash - August 2024

Our team is excited to support the back-to-school season by participating in Communities in Schools of Cape Fear's Stuff the Bus campaign. Communities in Schools of Cape Fear works directly inside 23 schools across New Hanover and Pender counties, connecting students to caring adults and community resources that help them see, confront and overcome the barriers that stand between them and a brighter future.

We believe every student deserves the tools they need to succeed, and we're committed to making a difference in our local community!
