Elliott has worked in the investment business since 1961. Since entering the financial services industry more than 60 years ago, he has put his growing experience to work in previous positions as general partner, regional manager and branch manager.
The focus of his work as a financial advisor and Portfolio Focus manager is serving the investment needs of his corporate and individual clients.
He seeks to assist them first, then to arrive at decisions about how their assets should be managed, and work toward attaining meaningful investment results. Elliott has devoted his entire career both to his clients and to his belief that wealth can be created with equities and maintained with carefully chosen allocations to municipal bonds.
As part of RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Focus program, Elliott manages individual client portfolios. The value he offers consists of the craft with which he selects and maintains each portfolio. His practice is fee-based: his clients pay for experienced overall investment judgment, rather than individual commissions.
Elliott and his wife have been married 62 years. They have two daughters, two grandchildren and two great-grandchild. Aside from his family and his investment business, Elliott’s passion in life is baseball. As a native Midwesterner, he grew up as a Chicago Cubs fan. Then, in 1969, he became involved as a Lancer with the Kansas City Royals. His family, his team support and his work all demonstrate his ability to make and honor long-term commitments.
