Christopher R. VanDusen, ChFC®, is a family wealth advisor and co-founder of The VanDusen Epstein Group at RBC Wealth Management. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Chris focuses on comprehensive wealth management for business owners, high-net-worth individuals and their families, as well as nonprofit institutions.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business with a minor in French from Lafayette College. After graduation, Chris entered the financial services industry as a market maker on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange with Group One Trading. Chris then joined Morgan Stanley and became one of the youngest financial advisors to be invited to the firm’s Wealth Advisor Program, an invitation only training curriculum of advanced planning techniques for ultra-high-net worth families. Chris continued to excel at the firm and became a senior vice president when he was just 31 years old, making him one of Morgan Stanley’s youngest advisors to earn that title.
Committed to refining his knowledge and skills to better serve his clients, Chris obtained the prestigious Chartered Financial Consultant® designation from The American College. As a ChFC®, Chris has completed the most extensive educational program required for any financial services credential, including training in investments, insurance, retirement planning, taxation, and estate planning. This certification gives Chris a sophisticated intellectual and analytical framework that he applies to his clients’ financial plans.
A firm believer in superior client service, Chris forms long-term relationships with his clients in order to discover their unique needs and aspirations. Chris has significant experience working with closely held businesses and helping these clients with business transition events.
In his free time, he enjoys running, fishing, and golf. Chris and his wife Beth met at Lafayette College and live in Moorestown, New Jersey, with their two daughters, Charlotte and Ella. They enjoy spending summers in Ocean City, New Jersey.
