Andy has been helping clients achieve their financial goals for more than 37 years. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in Boston, and has been with RBC for the last 24 years.
During his career, Andy has participated in a number of educational programs. In 2010 he earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a professional certification mark for financial planners that includes achieving rigorous education, examination, experience and ethics requirements. Andy also received the Accredited Wealth Management designation (AWM) in 2006, an internal professional designation specifically for RBC Wealth Management.
Andy is currently a member of RBC’s Alternative Assets Investment Advisory Board and has been a member of the RBC Chairman’s Council, recognizing the firm’s top financial advisors, since 2007. He holds his life and health insurance licenses, and NMLS license for mortgage lending originated through City National Bank and RBC Company.
Andy graduated from Brown University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in business economics and political science. He lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with his wife, Shelly, and three children, Madison, Teddy and Charlie. Andy coaches multiple youth sports programs, including hockey, basketball, baseball, lacrosse and soccer. In addition to his community involvement, Andy enjoys golf, basketball, fishing, travel and spending time with family in Cape Cod.
