Qualifications
In 2004, I received my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP) designation. I graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a bachelor's degree in business. After a successful career as a product manager with a local medical device firm, I joined RBC Wealth Management in 2001 to work alongside my father Harry, who retired, as a Financial Advisor.
Personal
I currently live in Southwest Minneapolis with my wife, Sara, a freelance illustrator and painter, and our children, Claire and Benjamin. I enjoy being active in my community where I have served on the Board of Directors of Stages Theatre, McRae Area Recreational Council and the Leadership Council at each of my children's schools as well as various committees for the Minneapolis Public School District.
My outdoor interests include running, skiing, sailing, and travel. I belong to the Twin Cities Sailing Club on Lake Harriet and recently took up racing with my daughter as crew.
I have completed seven marathons. My most recent marathon was the Moose Mountain Marathon, along the Superior Hiking Trail.
