Jake joined RBC Wealth Management eight years ago and attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2021. He recently earned the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation to deepen his expertise of qualified retirement plans. These designations place him near the top of the industry in terms of formal retirement and financial education.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University. Born and raised in St. Cloud, Jake enjoys reinvesting time back into the community he grew up in. As a beneficiary of great mentors, Jake gives back by serving on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN along with being a “Big.” He is a member of the St. Cloud State Community Advisory board which drives initiatives that benefit the university and broader St Cloud Region. Jake is also an active member of the Rotary Club of St Cloud and volunteer at United Way of Central MN. To commemorate his professional and community involvement, in 2026, Jake was named a 5 Under 40 recipient presented by the St Cloud Times.
In his free time Jake enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time on the lake.
