Jake joined RBC Wealth Management four years ago and attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2021. This designation places him near the top of the industry in terms of formal retirement and financial education. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation requires completion of extensive curriculum, rigorous tests and ongoing education.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University. During his time in school, he interned at a public accounting firm in Minneapolis for two tax seasons. Born and raised in St. Cloud, Jake enjoys reinvesting time back into the community he grew up in. As a beneficiary of great mentors, Jake gives back by being a “Big” for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN. He served as the Treasurer of the St. Cloud Rotaract Club and is an active volunteer through United Way of Central MN. In addition to community involvement, Jake enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time on the lake with friends.
