He works with clients to develop a personalized investment and risk management strategy. Commonly, this strategy consists of an actively managed portfolio of stocks, bonds, private equity and/or cash. Dustin is also experienced in ESG (environmental, social and governance) investing, which aligns his clients’ investments with their values. Combining this approach with a strategy of tax considerations helps see that clients’ portfolios are well prepared for all market conditions and life stages.
Dustin has passed the Series 7 and 66 exams, and holds his life, health, longterm care and annuity licenses. Dustin has helped his clients manage their wealth and plan their lives and businesses since 2009. Entering the investment business at this volatile time has given him a unique perspective of the risks that investors face.
Dustin is a proud Bay Area native, born in Napa and raised in San Francisco/ Marin County. He was a full scholarship student athlete for the Loyola Marymount University Lions prior to being drafted into the NBA minor league, and eventually touring the European basketball leagues. Dustin lives an active, outdoor lifestyle and is a passionate philanthropist, focusing on issues around climate change, conservation, animal rights and food access/sustainability. In addition to regular volunteer work with various organizations, he is the former vice president of the American Wild Horse Campaign, an ambassador to the Battery Powered Foundation and was recently named Man of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for Northern California.
